Stretched over six floors, this modernist developer-delivered Brooklyn townhouse came with grand proportions and perhaps intentionally exhibitionist-scaled windows. We accepted these features as an invitation to theater -- to summon the light conveyed, choreograph its shifting moods and set the stage for lavish living. Tasked to enhance the residence with verve and poise to complement the client’s museum-worthy art collection, we helmed a painstaking, top-down renovation including new millwork on every level, dramatic fireplace surrounds and custom lighting, metalwork and furnishings.
