Columbus Circle
Pied-à-terre

NEW YORK, NY

With a palette inspired by Henri Rousseau’s 1910 painting ‘The Dream’, this 47th-story aerie neighboring NYC’s iconic Hearst Tower and just steps from Central Park was pared down to its studs and reimagined as a crisp, calming city escape. Custom architectural and space-optimizing implementations include baseboards designed to complement new oiled white oak flooring, a dining banquette and table conceived specifically for the limited footprint, a living room window seat and bedroom millwork to disguise unsightly HVAC components and a full-height bronze mirrored door for improved closet access.
